No good reason for a horse to be kept in a stall not pasture. Unfathomable to me why people would keep their horses locked in a small space like a prison . no wonder he tries to escape. He needs free access to grass and time with his friends and exercise that's not work of course he will misbehave. Stop locking horses in stalls please!!!!!!!

I'll never understand why people keep horses in stalls, so far from their natural environment. I've always kept my horses outside with free access to grass, water, and shelter. They are happiest that way. And horses are hard animals. They're not meant to be alone. Its cruel to isolate them. Of course this horse wanted to join his friends. So and mean he wants to work ;)

Yes , I understand . The horse is clearly looked after and loved. But ......he is clearly a free spirit , so allow his spirit to roam free ...why nit allow him to roam with the donkeys in the sand pit then ...or think if something else ...I would hate to have such a free spirit but be oppressed without a voice...I have a voice , therefore I am speaking on behalf of the horse ...if tou couldnt speak hut your actions were louder then surely it's only human to allow his wishes ..he will only live once ?...we all only live once and we all strive to have as much freedom as possible ...I say give him his space ....??....I dont speak horse but I understand him ....x

People are getting angry and make assumptions before watching Part 2. If the horse wanna freedom because they feel caged, why the horses are okay with it? "Why do you keep escaping?" Because once a horse figures it out, They will leave. most horses dont like to be locked up, it is why so many learn stereotypical behaviors. Horses are herd animals, they are very soical. unless you eat, sleep and work in that stall, you are better off putting him in a field with other horses.

This doesn't look like night. Horses can have access to shelter and should without locking them in. Of course he is going to try to find any way he can to get out . there aren't many wild animals most places esp who go close to humans and a herd of horses. You keep them in a fence, not a stall. Horses need exercise, grazing, time with friends, freedom from such a confined, boring environment. Of course we can't set them free to get killed on roads etc. Good pasture is best, closest to what they would have in the wild without the danger.

Hes not picky or spoiled he just doesn't want to be caged. Also a horse bit is cruel and counterproductive, as it controls the horse through the threat of pain, similar to a whip. Only halters should be used.

Horses should be kept in pasture not set free in wild obviously. But keeping them in a stall is cruel , away from friends and grass and exercise. Horses are grazers by nature. They are made to eat and eat. Not just stand in stalls. No wonder he is bored. I always kept my horse out of the stall in a pasture. Doesn't mean she didn't have access to a shelter. She could go inside when she wanted. Stall culture is ridiculous and creates less healthy horses. No wonder they have colic.

Anyway ...the beautiful horse is clearly happy , loved and cared for . ..so I'm happy he has a loving family ...and beautiful surroundings...maybe he is just so spoiled...|♡...with lots of love and is just changing his leg !.....but what a beautiful animal and thank you for sharing such a beautiful horse ..much love ..keep safe ...♡

Just a thought, based on the beginning of the video, it doesn't look like they've actually got that much space (unless all that tree area is theirs). Also, since he is such an escape artist, if they did let him roam at night and day, he may escape out on to the road or something and get hurt. Granted, staying in the stall all day is also not very healthy. (Also, my friend's horse spends her life on 10+ acres of lush grass land and yet she still escapes just to get into the horse grain or to explore the neighbor's land. Sometimes horses, and all animals, just like to be naughty and get into trouble)

Maybe so . But this horse certainly does not want to be locked up . Even though it is getting treated top notch ...its clear to see the horse doesnt want to be locked up in a box . Nobody would . Even if I was getting treated well . I still wouldnt like to be locked in somewhere with a big padlock. ..horses are meant to roam free in a field...we are all born free . ...I'm just peaking out for a horse that cant speak out for its self ...I'm not accusing anyone of neglect here . I'm just saying that it's very clear the horse doesn't like being locked up ... ....

it is not practical to let them free .. I can see your point in wanting no animal to be caged but .. these horses are being treated absolutely top-notch and if you saw there were no consequences for the horse getting out .. they just tried a better lock .. I would argue not all animals are treated this way but its about balance
